About The Artist
Greetings!I am Empress Mahkeda Kellman--EMK for short--an afro-carribbean illustrator and animator based in Atlanta, Georgia. My love for storytelling, late afternoons, and the northern wilderness deeply inspire much of my artwork. Nature is magical, and my hope is to share that same sense of childlike wonder with my viewers.I love to play games, read biology books, and write stories with friends during my free time.

Only among close friends and mutuals. I'm not very comfortable with trades outside of intimate, personal circles

When did you start drawing?
Like a lot of artists, I have been making art since I was able to hold a pencil. However, my digital art journey began back in 2011. I am mostly self-taught, but in 2020 I took classes at the School of Visual Arts
